Scuba Equipment
If you have an underwater adventure planned, having the right scuba equipment will be vital. A great deal of this equipment can be rented if you only plan on going diving a few times. But for those that plan on making diving a regular event, purchasing your own equipment is highly recommended.
To start diving, there are some basic pieces of scuba equipment that will be required. The most important items are a mask, snorkel and fins, as these items are rarely included in most rental packages. This is also the equipment that is most commonly used for snorkeling, which is how most divers start out.
As a diver’s skills become for advanced, it is not uncommon for additional equipment to be purchased. This is largely because renting gear every time you dive becomes very expensive when you’re diving on a regular basis. Regulators, oxygen tanks and most other needed equipment can be purchased through nearly every dive shop.
